The operating status of the brake will be indicated by LED´s fitted to an electronic housing with transparent cover.

The housing is additionally fitted with a red flash ligth push button, indicating occurring failures. As an option, a signal ligth may be installed in the control room (e. g. in the crane driver cabin) to indicate any brake failure.

Bubenzer Disc Brakes of the SB14, SB23 and SB28 series may be retrofittedwith the VSR-kit.The brake pads and the actuator will then be fitted with the respective sensors.

The electronic housing will be fitted to the spring tube of the brake.The outside dimensions of the brake are not influenced by the retrofit.
